A small team with Virginia roots
Flexible, single plastic coil binding
Straightforward, human support
Our story
Three friends. One practical idea.
Our story is connected to Bitig Press, the Virginia-based binding and publishing business started by three friends. The idea was simple: books should stay open when you need them. A useful book should make cooking, studying, creating, or practicing easier.
Bitig Store brings that idea to your bookshelf. We offer books in a spiral-bound format that opens flat and folds back comfortably. We are a small, hands-on team, continually improving the way we prepare books and support the people who use them.
The same book. A more practical binding.
The value is in how the book fits into your day. Our binding service makes room for both the page in front of you and the work beside it.
Start with the content
Recipes, study guides, craft projects, coloring books, and more. The original author’s words and publisher’s content remain the reason to choose the book.
Give it room to open
We replace the original binding with a single flexible plastic coil threaded through round holes. Pages turn freely, stay open on a flat surface, and fold back through 360 degrees.
Put it to everyday use
Keep both hands on a recipe, make space for a notebook, or focus on a drawing without holding the book open. It is a small change that makes a real difference.
Made to be used
From kitchen counters to study desks.
A cookbook should leave your hands free. A workbook should give you space to write. A craft guide should stay on the step you are following. We choose this format because it helps books earn their place in everyday routines, whether you are learning something new or returning to a favorite hobby.
Our approach
Careful work. Honest support.
We care about materials, finishing, and getting the right book to you. We also know that real production and shipping can bring problems. If your book arrives damaged, the binding needs attention, or you received the wrong item, contact us. We will look at what happened and help with a practical next step, including a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Spiral binding is an additional service provided by our team. Rebound editions of other publishers’ books are not official editions produced by those publishers and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the original authors or publishers. Product listings identify the original book and its contributors.
